Gerhard Richter: Panorama @ Tate Modern
Visited 5/1/2012
A pivotal retrospective of Richter's decade spanning career at the UK's most accesible gallery.
From beautifully, painstakingly accurate portraits (Betty 1988), to the perhaps more well known abstracts (Abstract Painting 1990) Richter's work is so incredibly wide ranging that the collection is at times difficult to follow. Ordered chronologically, some pieces seems almost misplaced, none the less the viewer is given an impression of Richter's method of working.
The exhibition was extremely busy and before long I understood why.

Top 3 works
1)Betty (1988)
2)Nov 1999 (1999)
3)Self portrait (1996)
